Dr. Vinayak Agarwal is a distinguished Cardiologist, based in Gurgaon, with over a decade of experience. Currently, he is the Senior Consultant in the Department of Cardiology at Medanta, the Medicity located in Sector 38 in Gurgaon. His responsibilities include being in charge of the heart valve clinic and the hepatic transplant-cardiology division at the institute. He completed his MBBS in 1994, after which he pursued the post-graduation MD degree in Internal Medicine in 1998. He added to these qualifications with a DNB in Cardiology in 2004.

Dr. Agarwal has spent a considerable amount of time on research, having conducted numerous clinical trials. He also has extensively contributed to articles and papers, which have been published in peer-reviewed journals. Further, he has presented many of his findings at medical conferences. He is also keenly involved in teaching, having shared his knowledge as a guest lecturer at several meets and workshops connected in his field of expertise. Besides being accredited to many esteemed associations in the industry, he is also a Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography. He is registered with the Medical Council of India, as well as the Delhi and Haryana Medical Councils. He is also the Joint Editor of the Journal of Indian Academy of Echocardiography (JIAE) since March 2009.
